Meet David
David McMahon is running for Norristown Council At-Large to make change right here where we live.
“It’s about working together – sharing ideas, building skills, and coming together to defend, build, and get the Norristown we all envision.”
David is a community and worker organizer. In 2020, he co-founded Norristown Opposes Privatization Efforts (NOPE), a community group dedicated to stopping the corporate takeover of our sewer and wastewater system—an essential public utility. NOPE’s anti-privatization campaign victory has saved and will continue to save Norristown residents millions of dollars yearly.

If I could change one thing...
If I could change one thing about Norristown Council, it would be to ensure that residents’ voices are not just heard but actively shape the decisions that impact our lives.
